Fitness Advantage owner, Kathy is recognized for her ability to impart an enthusiasm for fitness with her clients and staff.
A twelve-time Boston Marathon runner as well as avid boxer, Kathy knows the dedication and commitment needed to obtain personal goals.
She has extensive experience in working with all levels of fitness including athletes, beginners and those with special health concerns. She holds various national certifications including ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, AAFA Group Instructor, USA Boxing Coach Certification, and Stott Pilates.
Sione comes to Fitness Advantage as a professional boxer and certified boxing instructor. He has an infectious love for fitness and a gift for being a great motivator.
Sione is known for his popular group classes and personal training sessions that combine tough workouts with fun. His attention to detail and mechanics helps his clients achieve and exceed their fitness potential.
Sione has been instrumental in establishing boxing programs at various facilities and has been a major contributor to their success.
Amy, a former dance instructor, came to FA Boxing to train for her first sanctioned boxing match. She was immediately hooked by boxing, and the fun and supportive FA community. “It is a place where everyone knows your name, will push you to work your hardest, and will make you laugh.”
Her training philosophy is “Change is uncomfortable. Let’s get comfortable being uncomfortable…and let’s make it fun!”. She has discovered the joy and rejuvenation of trying new things, and she loves to share that with her clients.
As a Mom of four who has transformed her body through boxing, she particularly loves to work with Moms, pushing them to create a body even more fit than pre-baby!
Besides boxing, Amy’s other fitness passion is obstacle course racing. She currently leads our FA obstacle course teams, as well as teaches boxing and conditioning.
Joe McGrath is a strength and conditioning coach with twelve years of experience. Joe has coached a variety of athletes with a wide range of experience levels, from the complete novice looking to lose body fat and add muscle, to the high level athlete aiming to improve performance in their respective sport.
Joe earned his bachelors of science degree from Endicott College where he lettered in Football and Baseball. He’s also a veteran of 16 amateur boxing matches, a certified USA Boxing coach (10 years), a certified Functional Movement Specialist (level 1), and a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition (Level 2).
Joe enjoys coaching large and small groups where he both encourages and guides clients along at their own individual ability level, with a keen eye for detail, a sense of humor, and all while ensuring a safe and beneficial training environment.
Joe’s is available for customized personal training, as well as nutrition coaching, where he will build personalized programs based on the individual goals, assessments, interests, and ability level.
Tracy is thrilled to join the staff at Fitness Advantage! She came to Fitness Advantage as a personal training client in 2013. She quickly grew to love the unique combination of boxing and strength training offered at the gym, and continues to enjoy group fitness and personal training sessions. Tracy left a career in nonprofit management in 2011 to be a full-time mom to her now 13 year old son. She has worked as volunteer in her hometown of Millis, and as a part-time assistant providing support to small local businesses. Tracy brings outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills to our team. She looks forward to being a friendly face to greet clients, and share her enthusiasm for boxing with all.
